DkA – Anneessens EP

Antoine Verbrugge aka DkA offers us a 3 track Ep with some of his most charismatic work to date. The techno infused title track Anneessens takes you on an endlessly evolving symbiosis between the pushing rhythmic part, kick / bass line interaction and an overwhelmingly wide melody arrangement. On the B side the story continues with Lost Track Of Time. Based on a similar structure than the first track it has a slightly darker side to it. It is only when the long heavy bass line kicks in after a few minutes that you realize this isn’t you ordinary b side track. And finally as a cherry on the cake Fireworks closes of the Ep with loopy bass lines topped by a warm evolving brass play. Perfect to shift from warming up to the more serious business.

Lewis Fautzi – Elliptic / Tremors

Soma mainstay Lewis Fautzi returns with a prelude to his next full length on the label with the hypnotic, drone inspired double A, ‘Elliptic/Tremors’. Lewis’ signature deep, mesmerising sounds are prevalent throughout this ep and are garnering him great support throughout the Techno world.

Exclusive to this EP is Elliptic. Fautzi uses minimalistic grooves and sparse percussion to create a narcotic atmosphere, brimming with seductive, effective synth hooks that ebb and flow, leaving you lost in the moment

Taken from the upcoming Space Exploration LP, Tremors teams with dark energy. The pulse of distant entities dominate the background as searing bass tones build and swell around you creating the most unnerving tension.

Fautzi gives us a sneak peak into a project that takes us beyond the realms of what we know as Techno.

Raíz & Permanent Heartbreak – Absence Of You

Raíz cooperate with social observer Permanent Hearbreak on the label’s 4th vinyl release. The collaboration delves deep into human emotion over three movements, developing around the concept of personal absence.

Side A1, With Out You, stretches a somber beat over 6 minutes with graceful overtones and powerful rhythm. Permanent Heartbreak speaks the message of “With Out You” over wet/dry percussion and heartsick chords. The energy and attitude turn up considerably on the flip side.

With Me is a quick jaunt through semi-distorted clap and kick combinations of the jacking variety. Evolving analog style synth work builds the song until its climactic end.

Wont Change Me takes cues from the darker Detroit / Kalamazoo sounds with Permanent Heartbreak’s cold premonitions laid out over a driving sequence.

Project28 – Flora & Fauna

project28 got in touch with electronic music in the early nineties. Based close to Frankfurt, he got early influenced by the typical Frankfurt Sound. After working as DJ and Producer for over 20 Years, now starting with the Concept Album “Flora & Fauna” on Desperadoz Recordz.

Flora & Fauna is a conceptional Work. Every Song has a Story. The Stories are inspired by our beautiful nature. There is no genre addiction, but instead a lot of creativity in the Sounds and the Sounding of each Track. You may translate the Titles from Latin to your native language to get an idea what the music is about.

Music made from Butterflies to Flowers, pumpin Clubtracks to chilled listening Electronica. Enjoy.
